Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-20
By using Scanaris you agree to these terms. Please read them — they are short and to the point.
1. The service
Scanaris scans websites and returns a security report with findings and remediation suggestions. The service is provided "as is"; we work hard to make it reliable, but we do not guarantee it detects every issue or that it is error-free.
2. Acceptable use — authorized sites only
You may ONLY scan sites you own or are expressly authorized to test by their owner. Scanning third-party systems without permission may be illegal and is strictly prohibited. You are solely responsible for holding that authorization.
Our checks are read-only against public information; even so, permission to scan is your responsibility.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us if you detect unauthorized use.
4. Plans and payments
There is a free plan with limited results and paid plans that unlock the full report, fix prompts and other features. Payments are handled through our payment provider. Unless the law says otherwise, payments are non-refundable once the service has been provided.
5. Report license
Reports on standard plans are for your INTERNAL USE (your own websites). You may not resell them or offer them as a white-label service to clients on these plans. A dedicated agency plan with a resale license exists for that.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Scanaris is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use (or inability to use) the service, nor for decisions made based on the reports. A high-scoring report does not guarantee your site is invulnerable.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; we will announce material changes. Governing law: [jurisdiction]. Questions: legal@scanaris.com.
