What it checks
This scanner checks two basic privacy-compliance signals in your site's HTML: whether you link a privacy policy or legal notice, and whether we detect a cookie consent manager when your site sets cookies.
Why it matters
In the EU, processing personal data (forms, analytics, non-essential cookies) without a privacy policy or consent can lead to GDPR penalties. It also signals a lack of professionalism and erodes visitor trust.
How to fix it
Publish a privacy and cookie policy suited to what you process and link it from the footer. If you use non-essential cookies, add a consent banner that blocks them until the user accepts.
